Hong Kong-based gift producer, Present Present recently held a series of workshops that taught the technique of coptic book binding with recycled wallpaper.

Held during Hong Kong’s annual design event DETOUR - aimed to showcase the city as a regional creative hub – of which this year’s theme was Use-Less: Highlighting the Impacts of Irresponsible Consumerism.

Present Present highlighted the waste of outdated wallpaper being thrown away by interior decorators and contractors, and showed how they could be used as durable and waterproof book covers.
