Design Miami, Miami Beach in collaboration with Swarovski Crystal Palace. The project, entitled Crystal Matrix II, combines light, sound and Swarovski crystals, which are placed on 16 rotating disks suspended from the ceiling. The disks are lit by floating multi-coloured LEDs, which work in conjunction with a meditative sound sequence.
Redl said of the collaboration, “The purity and precise geometry of Swarovski crystals are a natural fit to the aesthetic of my art. The installation Crystal Matrix is a tightly woven composition of light, sound and crystals placed on rotating disks enticing the viewers to enjoy the sensuality of abstract thought.”
Crystal Matrix II will be open at Design Miami until 4th December 2011.
