Drawing inspiration from Gerrit Rietveld’s 1928 classic Red and Blue chair, the Sweetch18 is a multifunctional piece: a coffee table that can turn into an armchair and vice versa. Designed by Benoit Lienart, Sweetch18 is available at Outdoorz Gallery, a prestigious design gallery based in Paris.
The chair has been recognised by the prestigious L’Observeur du Design 2011 and is an example of a recent trend WGSN-homebuildlife spotted: the classics redesigned (subscribers can read the full report here)
