HBL Retail: Kochhaus, Berlin

With increasing competition from online retailers, bricks-and-mortar brands are having to make the experience simpler and more efficient for the consumer. The mantra here is: be useful.
A great example of this is Kochhaus in Berlin (pictured above), which combines a grocery store and a cook shop to create an entirely new concept. Food is displayed in recipes with complete meals laid out on tables in-store. Customers simply pick up a recipe card along with the necessary ingredients (all in pre-measured quantities) and are ready to go.
