Dessert eraser set by Iwako


As back-to-school time fast approaches, we take inspiration from the latest stationery trends emerging from Japan, where cute faces reign supreme, and graphics are clean and friendly.

Food and candy is the prominent stationery trend in Japan, especially for kids: update the idea with moveable elements, such as edamame beans that can be popped out of their shell and used as erasers (above).

The key brand for this trend is Iwako, who offer stationery in the shape of ice creams, fast food, heads of corn, strawberry sponge cakes, macaroons, strawberries, cans of soda... the list goes on.
