Curious Collections is the brainchild of Dutch designer, photographer and consultant Mariëlle Leenders. Feeding into WGSN’s A/W 11/12 macrotrend Faux Real, the collection offers nature-inspired photodesigns for textiles and wallpaper.

The innovative, detailed designs are based on plants, flowers, and surfaces and prints made from natural substances such as stone and wood. “Nature is a big influence and inspiration. To me it is the source of everything - every design and idea finds its origin in nature,” explains Leenders.
