Staged in Ventura Lambrate during Milan's design week last month,
Poetry Happens! aimed to showcase the high standard of design currently emerging from Berlin - including a series of china by
Maria Volokhova which layers vibrant colours and graphic patterns over more classical imagery, drawn from history and nature.

Ett la benn showed a range of vessels and lighting constructed from air-dried cellulose, a natural and 100% biodegradable material prized for its lightness and strength.WGSN-homebuildlife was charmed by the askew, unusual forms and tactile surfaces of the collection.

Mark Braun, one of WGSN-homebuildlife's top ten exhibitors at
IMM Cologne in January, showed the collection of carafes he designed for
Lobmeyr, each one engraved with the silhouette of an Austrian lake or river.
