DesignMarketo at Barbican

To coincide with the Barbican’s new show, Pioneers of the Downtown Scene, New York 1970s, DesignMarketo has opened its first retail space in the London venue’s gallery shop.

 The shop within a shop will offer products commissioned from DesignMarketo’s previous events, such as their Tea Tasting for Future Beauty: 30 years of Japanese Fashion, and FoodMarketo events including Fruit &Vegetables at Milan Salone del Mobile 2010 and Coffee & Friends at London Design Festival 2010.

DesignMarketo will also be holding a dinner party entitled Dinner with DesignMarketo featuring specially commissioned recipes and objects produced by friends and collaborators of DesignMarketo.
