Farrow & Ball have launched nine new colours for 2011, including a dusted lilac called Calluna No.270 which is inspired by Scottish heather, Mizzle No.266, a green-grey hue designed to resemble "a West Country evening mist", and a vivid orange called Charlotte's Locks No. 268.

Other additions are: Brassica No.271, named after the rich purple vegetable family; Manor Hour Grey No. 265, a grey which works best paired with peat red; Dove Tale No. 267, a stony grey; a pale apricot named Oxford Stone No. 264; a fresh blue white called Cabbage White No. 269 and finally Plummet No. 272, a steady midtone grey.
