Guts for Garters, London

In our latest retail report, WGSN-homebuildlife takes a closer look at Guts for Garters, located in Camden, north London. The concept store offers vintage and commissioned pieces of art, as well as tabletop, soft accessories, furniture, fashion and accessories - and its name is inspired by the building's previous life as a Victorian butchers.

The shop is run by Rachel Chudley and Cassie Beadle. “Cassie and I went to the Courtauld Institute of Art, which is traditional, very much an established place,” says Chudley. “We loved it there, but at the same time we both wanted to do something different. We chose a concept shop because we wanted to have a lot of fun with the space.”
