A new Swedish speakeasy-style club has imposed strict etiquette rules on its patrons, including the instruction “a gentleman addresses a lady only when spoken to”.
Other house rules include keeping mobile phones turned down, leaving in a quiet and orderly manner, a blanket ban on photography, and a final request to “drick och ha trevligt” - which directly translates to “drink and have nice”.
The latest edition of Stockholm’s Plaza Magazine Newsletter describes the establishment, run by Stockholm bartending legend Jimmy Dymott, as “the hottest member’s card this autumn”.
