Live from IHHS 2014: Coolgrip by New Metro Design

New Metro Design is showing one of its latest products at this year's International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago: a microwave caddy called Coolgrip.

Coolgrip is made of polypropylene (BPA free) and should be used as a base for bowls and plates in the microwave: as it never gets hot, it makes it easier for users to get the plate out of the microwave as well as catching spills and boil-overs.



Ingenious kitchen gadgets that focus on the users' safety are one of the highlights of the show, which runs until Tuesday. A full report will be available for Homebuildlife subscribers early next week.
