Caravan, the tiny house hotel

Located in the Alberta Arts District in Portland, Oregon, Caravan is a hotel comprising three tiny self-contained houses, built on wheeled trailers. Each house is unique and boasts a private bathroom (complete with hot shower) as well as a kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, so guests can feel completely at home during their stay.

Former creative director at Issey Miyake, Dai Fujiwara invented the 'color-hunting' concept. Him and his team reproduce colour on a piece of paper by mixing watercolours, to perfectly match tones that they come accross in the wild. If the swatch disappears into the target, it’s a perfect catch.
Fujiwara thus went colour hunting amongst wild lions, and used his finds as a base to reinterpret the Camper Pelotas shoes.
My first Dunlopillo: an eco mattress for babies
British company Dunlopillo has just released an eco-conceived mattress specifically created for babies. During its first year, a baby spends 15 to 20 hours a day in his bed so the quality of his sleep is paramount. 'My first Dunlopillo' is adapted to new-borns' morphology and weight, and composed of Ecogen foam, which ensures a better ventilation, is anti-allergen, and prevents the appearance of bacteria and acarids.

British designer Ross Lovegrove's new furniture collection for Vondom combines the brand's expertise in advanced roto-moulded technology and the designer's ongoing research into transferring digital processes into contemporary design. Named Biophilia, because of its fluid organic shapes, the pieces push the boundaries between material, structure and form into a new modern territory.
Winners of the Tour de France trophy by Lasvit
Famous for its unique and exclusive crystal glass sculptures, Czech glass-making company Lasvit was commissioned by the Tour de France to create an elegant trophy for the third consecutive year. The prize was hand-made by Czech glass-makers and designed by Peter Olah, from Slovakia, who is also responsible for the Race of Champions' trophy.

Brazilian furniture brand Tora Brasil has launched a new collection to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The brand's signature is the solid wood collection made of certified wood from Brazilian forests, all designed by founder Cristiano Ribeiro do Valle.
The commemorative collection includes an interactive shelving piece as well as a stool and an occasional table.
Feather and Fur by Liz Shuter
Graphic designer Liz Shuter combines hand-drawn mark-making patterns with CAD to create a series of beautiful illustrations. Inspired by birds and cats, these pastel colored motifs can be translated into greeting cards and fine art prints.

The 22nd International Garden Festival, in Chaumont sur Loire, France, is this year focusing on feelings and sensations. Landscape artists and garden designers from all over the world were asked to work on the subject and stimulate all of the visitor's senses, by building surprising gardens.
The 'Ruban Rouge' garden (Red Ribbon) by Chinese designer Yu Kongjian encourages contemplation and rest.
Outdoor wallpaper by Wall & Decò

Italian company Wall & Decò launched a collection of wall coverings for the outdoor, also suitable for bathrooms and other damp environments. The innovative wallpapers are treated with a water-resistant and anti-UV finish, preventing yellowing and abrasion. With dozens of patterns to choose from, shower walls and swimming pool areas can now be decorated with the same attention to detail than the rest of the home.
