Belgian textile designer
Pauline Gorelov has designed a knitted carpet that can be produced on industrial knitting machines in just one hour.
Exhibited during
Milan Design Week earlier this year, the Tokio knitted carpet is made from a
combination of natural wools and
technical fibres that make it durable and soft to the touch.
Gorelov is currently raising money to put the carpet into production on crowdfunding platform
IndieGoGo.
