Tip of the Iceberg at Hampton Court

John Esling and Caroline Tait stacked Zanussi fridges and freezers to form this giant iceberg installation at the Hampton Court Flower Show 2013. The conceptual garden re-evaluates landfill waste and creatively transforms unwanted white goods into planters.

Hardy alpine plants blossom in amongst the shelves and cascade from fridge drawers, while glass chips imitate ice and resemble a sea of jewels surrounding the display.
