The Arkonaplatz flea market is located in the Mitte district, and is popular with young, trendy Berlin locals. This is a fantastic place to find vintage gems from the 60s and 70s, as well as clothing, bric-a-brac and furniture. The Boxhagener Platz flea market, or "Boxi" as the locals call it, is a pleasant place to spend a Sunday afternoon. While not as fashion-minded as Arkonaplatz market, Boxi has various stalls that offer goods such as antiques, artwork, unique T-shirts and jewellery, secondhand clothes, books and vinyl. On Saturdays, a lovely farmers' market takes over Boxhagener Platz.
